Denise Schumacher, MD

Dr. Schumacher earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biology from the State University of New York, Potsdam, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Grand Forks. She completed her OB/Gyn residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison.

She is board-certified by the American Board of OB/Gyn. Dr. Schumacher has practiced OB/Gyn in the Fargo area for the past 20 years. Prior to that she served in the US Army as a Captain and a Major, and was an OB/Gyn in Army Community Hospitals in Ft. Riley, Kansas and Ft. Hood, Texas.

Dr. Schumacher has also received the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential from the Menopause Society.

This nationally recognized certification reflects advanced expertise in caring for women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond, providing the latest evidence-based care for symptoms like hot flashes, brain fog, sleep changes and more.
